We Service all of Miami Florida for Irrigation and Sprinkler Systems Needs!
WHAT WE DO
We specialize in:
We do not offer new irrigation installation. Our primary focus and expertise is in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading existing systems. Our primary clientele, and main focus, are residential customers, however, we have recently taken on more commercial accounts as well…
WHAT SETS US APART
The answer lies with owner and founder Peter Masi. Peter is very passionate about what he does. He loves what he does and his attention to detail really sets him apart. Customers are always wowed when they see the time and effort Peter puts in, being very meticulous and giving them the highest quality work possible.
When it comes to irrigation Peter uses the highest quality material available, no cheap Home Depot stuff. We warranty all the work that we do for one year so it’s important that we use brands such as; Gould’s, Rainbird, etc. Those companies have a similar work culture to Greenstar’s, they take pride in their products just as Greenstar takes pride in their work.
One of the unique things about Greenstar landscaping is that there aren’t outside sales persons doing the estimating and consultations. Most of the service calls are performed by the owner Peter Masi. How often do you see the actual owner of the company out in the field, working, doing the initial diagnostic and recommending upgrades etc.? You truly have an expert that you are dealing with from the very beginning. Peter also likes to meet all potential new customers face to face. After an initial consultation and lay out then it’s put in the hands of his experienced team to finish the task.
One of the things our customers love about Greenstar is that we are an extremely clean company. This means that we are not going to go to a property, tear it apart, kill plants, mix in dirt with their mulch, dirty their walkways with footprints, put fingerprints on their siding, etc. Absolutely not. We treat the property as though it was our property. Absolutely not.
We are like surgeons when it comes to trenching. First, we cut the grass back, fold it over and then trench. Once we have installed the pipe, we carefully rake and clean all the soil back into the trench, fold the grass back over and gently pack it. Most of the time you can barely tell that we were working in the yard. We re-install the mulch and/or rocks inside of planter beds, making sure to leave it as clean as it was when we got there. We clean up after ourselves, leaving no debris on site, making sure that the patio’s, driveways, walkways, are all washed off and clean. This takes time, which is another reason that are prices are a bit higher than others. When you think about what it costs to have to return to re-sod, re-paint, or repair things that are broken when the contractor does their work, then it is worth the value. Customers love it, in fact, most of our employees get tips on a consistent basis.
Customers appreciate their hard work, and that we go out of our way to ensure cleanliness, and will show that appreciation by giving an extra $20 or $30 here and there. When we are done the glory goes to the technicians and the guys that are working the job. It’s very gratifying to hear the customers go on and on about how great they guys are and about their horror stories about other companies.
WE’RE NOT CHEAP
We’re a Value. Customers know that they get what they pay for – the job done right the first time. We truly are an extremely good value for the price we charge. Our customers know that once we finish a job that the job will be done right, providing them 100% coverage. If there’s ever an issue with the system we will be out there to take care of these issues within a day or two.
Our employees love what they do and take pride in what they do, believing in the same philosophy the owner does. Their knowledge is extensive, and the quality of their work is second to none.
Anybody can replace a sprinkler head, replace a pump but the question is – was it done right? Were the wires connected properly? Was the check valve replaced? A lot of times when you go for an irrigation diagnostic, the customers tell you what’s happened and you’re trying to figure out what may have caused the problem. This is where our experience and knowledge come in, when diagnosing the issue.
‘What do you think Peter?’ customers say it all the time.
Our main emphasis is showing to our potential customers that by calling us that their worries will be over. We will treat them fairly and provide them with the highest quality of work and craftsmanship that we can. Our employees love what they do and take pride in what they do, believing in the same philosophy the owner does. Their knowledge is extensive, and the quality of their work is second to none. Again, we want to let these customers know that by calling us, we will take care of their problems, lift the burden off them. Having quality irrigation also raises the value of their property as it improves the landscape, keeping it vibrant and healthy. Many of our clientele have spent thousands of dollars on their landscaping and they know the value of having a high-quality irrigation system. We also focus on educating people about water conservation and upgrading their systems to what is called a ‘smart irrigation system’: a digital timer, wireless rain sensor and Wi-Fi module.
One of the reasons that I love this business is because just when you think you’ve seen it all, you see something else: meaning it is truly incredible the amount of incompetency out there. People do things wrong all the time but because they are doing it cheaply, they get the job. These companies do not care about their customers, they just want to get in and out as quickly as possible.
Our brand is about quality, knowledge, experience, passion, craftsmanship and the love of the industry.
